Press Statement By Brolin Nicholsion:
The government should start to impose the inter district permit to curb the spread of the virus from the red zone area.
This is because after Sarawak experiencing two to three digits lately and it can be curb if the inter district travel is by police permit.
Some of the green areas have turned into yellow and orange zone mostly by the virus carries from outside the green zone.
Take for example Kuching and Serian, some of the kuchingites will prefer to travel to Serian to find some durians or place to eat as they feel unsaved to travel around in Kuching. Sometimes they don’t realize that they have the potential as the virus carriers andpotentially infecting others in the green zone.
By using the police permit , only those who have businesses to do will willing to apply for the police permit to have the inter district travel.
The police permit also helps the government stop the spread of the virus to save areas and will help to keep track of those who are potentially becoming the virus carrier.
I also want to urge the government to focus on helping the SMEs and revive the economy instead of the state election, let’s learn from the Sabah State election.
Most of the Sarawakians are currently struggling to put food on the table for their family and this can lead to some criminals cases for the survival.
Inject more financial support for the people and not a window-dressing initiative that eventually does not bring any effect to the livelihood of every Sarawakians.
It’s time for Sarawak GPS government to not rely with any decision made by the federal government and act on their wisdom. Put Sarawakians as your priority.
