Press Statement By Michael Kong:
Following from the recent issue respecting the change of traffic flow serving Ee Ann City at Jalan Penrissen, DAP Stampin Parliamentary Team was approached by some of the shopkeepers and/or residents. To them, this is an important matter which is drastically affect their lives. We also went around to engage with some of the people who live and/or operate their businesses within Kota Sentosa.
After discussions with the locals, it is the common belief that a new entry and exit point should be constructed to like the main Jalan Penrissen and Ee Ann City. There is currently a temporary road access which is being used by the contractors of Pan-Borneo Highway. DAP urges Jabatan Kerja Raya and Majlis Perbandaran Padawan to work together to make this road access into a permanent one for the betterment of Kota Sentosa.
As such, I have written to the JKR and MPP for them to consider this proposal. We urge all parties especially the JKR and MPP to work together to resolve this pressing concern.
