Lacking Of Infrastructure, Council Urged To Address The Issue

Leslie Ting, special assistant to Bandar Kuching MP Yii Li wen, recently visited the residents of 12th Mile Kampung Sri Arjuna After communicating with the residents, it is evident that local infrastructure are lacking, and the pubic hoped that the Padawan City Council would resolve the matter as soon as possible.

According to an elderly resident whom had lived in the village for more than 50 years, the road development is still backward, narrow and lacking street lights.

Leslie Ting stated that there are 8 alleys in the village without street lights, and there is a large pothole on the road at the forth alley, which poses a serious danger to cars or pedestrians, that could cause misfortune.

In view of this, Leslie called on the parliamentary authorities to carry out infrastructure construction, send people to repair the roads, widen the pavements and install street lights to illuminate to road to ensure safe access for residents and improve the quality of life.
