The recent spike of Covid-19 cases in Kuching is a stark reminder that we must remain vigilant at all times. The public cannot afford to be complacent in this fight against Covid-19. Everyone has a role to play, no matter how big or small.
DAP Kuching is pleased to be able to help SJK Bintawa in its efforts to sanitise the entire school before its re-opening to Primary 5 & 6 students by contributing two bottles of concentrated disinfectant. Michael Kong Feng Nian and Sim Kiat Leng who are both Special Assistants to YB Chong Chieng Jen were present at SJK Bintawa to represent YB Violet Yong for the handover. Through the tireless efforts of the teachers, many parents can be comforted that their children are in good hands.
We also managed to discuss issues which the teachers faced when conducting classes online and also the school’s Standard Operating Procedures when it reopens. We implore the parents to also be understanding and cooperate with the teachers to ensure a safe and conducive environment for our young ones.
