Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs YB Chong Chieng Jen made an official working visit to Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd Headquarters in Shenzhen, China. He and the delegates from ministry received by Steven Sheng, Vice President Global Public Affairs of HuaWei.
The working visit is to understand and explore on the potential collaboration with Huawei on how to increase the adaptation of digital technology and economy especially in the distributive trade field.
Huawei have been successful in building and becoming one of the leading brands that can create digital product and services for all industry. The company spending about 15 percent of their revenue mainly on R&D which shows that the company is really concerned about developing the brand hence helping the industry grows forward by introducing new technology. The government had expressed the interest and wish to work together with Huawei in Malaysia to help develop the country becoming more technology driven.
