YB Andrew Wong had site inspection to the construction of Fire and Recues Station at 2nd KM, Kelupu Road, Bintangor recently. He was accompanied by his assistant, Puan Rinda Alexanda, Fire Officer, Encik Nicholas bin Belulin and Contractor Engineer, Encik Breelzm Maurice, lndra Petra Sdn. Bhd. and others.
YB said the construction cost of the building is amounting to more than 6,000,000 which include main office, 2 storerooms, 4 units of quarters, tower training, concrete field, etc.
The construction work commenced in April 2018 and expected to be completed in October 2019 within 18 months. The project is now 73 percent completed.
“The completion of the station will definitely bring better service to the public,” YB added.
