Kuching: In a gesture of appreciation and continued support for education, RM111,500.00 was handed over to SJK (C) Chung Hua No. 2 to assist the school in purchasing new tables and chairs for its classrooms.

The contribution aims to create a more comfortable and conducive learning environment for both students and teachers, further enhancing the school’s ongoing efforts to provide quality education.

Over the years, the headmistress of SJK (C) Chung Hua No. 2 has worked closely with the office of Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen to bring significant improvements to the school.

Among the key achievements is the full digitalisation of classrooms, which has greatly enhanced the teaching and learning experience.

The timing of this contribution is especially meaningful, as it coincides with the headmistress’s upcoming retirement on 21 November 2025, marking the end of her years of dedicated service to the school.

“Her commitment and cooperation have been instrumental in transforming the school into one that keeps pace with modern education needs.

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to her on her well-deserved retirement,” said Michael Kong Feng Nian, Special Assistant to Chong Chieng Jen.

He added that the contribution serves as a fitting token of appreciation for her outstanding leadership and lasting legacy – one that will continue to benefit students for years to come.
