YB Andrew Wong disclosed that the construction works of Pan Borneo Highway of 64.5 km within Sarikei Constituency is 30 percent completed.
The 64.5 km in length of part of Pan Borneo Highway starts from Sg . Awik Bridge to Bintangor Junction.
YB paid a courtesy call to Project Manager, Encik Suhaili of contractor, Lebuhraya Borneo Utara at his office yesterday morning.
YB was briefed on the progress of the construction works.
He said the construction works although faced some minor problems, such as shifting of cables and water pipes, etc., but the works is carried out as usual and will be completed on time which will bring great beneficial to the local people.
