Kuching: The Bandar Kuching and Stampin Service Centres of Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sarawak will reward top Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) candidates with cash incentives of up to RM1,000.
The initiative is aimed at recognising academic excellence and motivating students to pursue higher education.
Students who achieved a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.3 and above in the 2024/2025 examination are eligible to apply.
Incentives will be awarded according to CGPA levels:
- CGPA 3.3 – 3.49: RM500
- CGPA 3.5 – 3.69: RM600
- CGPA 3.7 – 3.89: RM800
- CGPA 3.9 – 4.0: RM1,000
Applications are open to eligible students residing in Bandar Kuching or Stampin based on their MyKad address.
Submissions must be made online via the Google Form at https://forms.gle/ioK6ThzebZCyxY8z5 or through the official Facebook pages of YB Chong Chieng Jen and YB Kelvin Yii.
The deadline is 31st August 2025 (Sunday) at 11:59pm.
Applicants must upload supporting documents, including their MyKad, 2024/2025 STPM results slip, school leaving certificate, and bank account details.
