Press Statement By Wong Pak Ming:
Upon received complaint from the public, vice-chairman of DAP, Sarikei Branch inspected the condition of road nearby Nyelong Bridge, Pan Borneo Highway. It was found that there are a lot of potholes on the road.
This will course endanger to the road users, especially the motorists. The road shoulder is not properly cleared as well.
Beside this，the road drain is not cleared frequently which cause stagenant water on the road surface during raining day.
Although they did send workers to clear the road shoulder , it was not properly done, the main drain remained unclear.
