Press Statement By Bernard Chin:
Countless days of waiting, the long-awaited good news for fellow Malaysian has arrived. On 28 July 2020, it is official that ex-Malaysian prime minister, Dato’ Sri Najib Razak is deemed guilty of seven charges of unlawful activities which includes criminal breach of trust, abuse of power and money laundering of funds amounting to RM42 million ringgit ($9.8million) from SRC International Sdn Bhd, a former 1MDB unit.
We are thankful and blessed for all the faith that every Malaysian has placed in us, the judicial process would not have started if Malaysians did not rise up and paved the way for Pakatan Harapan’s victory against Barisan Nasional in 14 th General Election Malaysia(GE14). We are also grateful for every hard work and effort contributed by members of Pakatan Harapan in fighting against every injustice and working for better Malaysia.
We believe in the power of people, and rest assure that democracy has not died yet, there are still hope as long we have the faith from The Rakyat and our passionate members of Pakatan Harapan. No matter which part of Malaysia we are from and no matter the race, we will continue to serve and work as one towards justice.
